Joy

Psalm 16:11

You will make known to me the path of life,

In Your presence is fullness of joy;

In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

Oh Sweet Lord,

Praise to you Father, for all you have done in our lives in 2011. I am grateful for all that You are, Wonderful Counselor who won't let us go, faithful till the end.

It is the start of 2012 and a time when people start their resolutions. After listening to the sermon "Resolutions of God" from church, I realize that I must cease striving (Psalm 46:10) and just KNOW you are God. I pray that in 2012, I may exalt your name so that when YOU GET THE GLORY, I will receive the sweet precious JOY that comes in your presence. I am ready to continue on your path for my life in 2012, as so is my family. We thirst for that JOY that you promise, Father. No matter the stress that is upon us, the burdens that weight us down, We know that You cause all things to work together for GOOD to those who love you Lord (Romans 8:28). All our HOPE and STRENGTH is in YOU. Our PEACE is in you- AND SO OUR JOY. As a family- we know difficult times will come and that it isn't happening to us, but that it is happening for us. Lord, you aren't punishing us, because Jesus endured the cross for us. Our JOY is coming Father, I know you are working on our behalf in 2012 and beyond.
