Man's Best Friend

My dear friend DC recently sent me this darling picture of Princess Julie that he found. Sadly, she is no longer with us, and opening the email was sad. DOGS ARE MAN'S BEST FRIEND. No matter what they are there- sad tears, happy days, long road trips or hikes on green belt- they don't care, they just want to be with you. Had to post some dog shots!

IGBY- my skinny yellow boy! He is turning 9 this year. Zane promised me a dog when we moved into place with a backyard. We rescued him from BLUE DOG RESCUE here in Austin. There have been challenges as he is a double shelter drop off AND leash aggressive at times since he was tied up in a backyard for his first 2 years. We don't care- WE LOVE HIM and
has been an awesome addition to our family. He loves walks, hikes, car rides, naps post training with Mom.

This is ZEUS- he is the most recent Baker Family dog. I called him Rat Dog but he is pretty cute (would say I am a big dog person myself). He loves to sleep in his "cooker" (a electric heated bed). We grew up with 3 golden Retrievers and a Collie Mix so dogs have always been a part of my life. AND I AM GRATEFUL FOR THAT.
